This concert will present the world Premiere performance of a new arrangement of Jim's Shavano Suite, scored for guitar, string orchestra, and percussion. Joyce Hanagan will conduct this chamber orchestra version with Colorado College students and faculty performing the string and percussion parts. This suite was inspired by folklore and campfire tales of frontier era Colorado.
Colorado College Guitar Ensemble will also perform Jim's Six Easy Guitar Ensemble Pieces. Admission is $10 with tickets only sold at the door. Students are free.
